Tarkine Trails App Launch

We are very excited to announce that our best-selling guide to takayna / Tarkine is being released as an app.

takayna makuminya / Tarkine Trails was published in 2015 and has been seen in the hands of many Tarkine adventurers since then.

On Thursday 13 August, we are launching our stunning app of this beautiful book, allowing people to explore takayna / Tarkine using their favourite digital device.

This app provides maps and detailed route descriptions for some 100 walks, rafting trips, bike rides and drives through the wilds of takayna / Tarkine.

Illustrated with photos of the mountains, rivers, coastline and wildlife of this spectacular wilderness, the app allows you to plan a walk, river trip or bike ride ranging from 30 minutes to 7 days.

All the routes can be searched by region, distance and grade to make planning your next adventure into this wild country as easy as possible.

Join special guest speakers Bob Brown, Australian Rugby Legend David Pocock, Patagonia Australia’s Shannon Bourke and Stefanie Rieder-Haas from German outdoor company Ortovox, who sponsored the app.
