Overview and Draft Itinerary

If works on the Adani mine start in earnest, Bob Brown will lead a convoy of vehicles travelling the length of the country, from Hobart in Tasmania to Bowen in North Queensland.

The convoy will stop at cities and towns along the route, to hold public meetings and rallies, before arriving at Bowen in North Queensland. These events will be co-hosted with Frontline Action on Coal and Sea Shepherd.

Once at Bowen, convoy participants will be able to stay at the Stop Adani basecamp being managed by Frontline Action on Coal and take part in various campaign activities.

The itinerary is currently in the early stages of planning. Below is an initial draft which is subject to change. Town hall meetings and rallies will be held along the way. It currently includes rest days between some all major cities.

Great news! Byron Bay will surely put on a great reception. This isn’t just about Adani, or the Gallilee basin, or coal, or renewable energy. It’s about the future.
