After extensive planning, we are now ready to accept formal registrations to join the convoy.
Almost 2000 people have said they will join our Stop Adani Convoy, which will be led by a fleet of electric cars. This is a community commitment – an act of defiance for the future of our planet. A peaceful protest against Gautam Adani’s obscene mine in the lead up to the federal election.
We will depart from Hobart on April 17, collecting participants in Melbourne, Albury, Sydney, Coffs Harbour, Mullumbimby, Brisbane, Airlie Beach, the Galilee Basin and Canberra. There will be events and rallies in many of these locations.
In the Galilee Basin, we will join Traditional Owners, and locals fighting the Adani mine on the frontline, for a very special event at a venue yet to be announced.
Anyone who wishes to join local campaign actions can join the frontline camp at Camp Nudja.
We will then head south to Canberra for a big rally finale on May 5th, just before the election, to question whether Australia really wants to back pro-Adani candidates in the federal election.
Please now confirm your participation and officially register to join the convoy. The registration form will collect information that will allow us to plan and manage this huge event, safely and effectively.
If you are unable to join the convoy, there is another important way you can be part of this history-making protest. We'll need volunteers at the convoy's public events and rallies and this is another great way you can support this important campaign.
We look forward to you joining us for this history-making event.
