Senior Liberal and Labor figures like Labor leader Rebecca White and Guy Barnett who are out in unison over the Robbins Island mega wind farm proposal, may take a deep breath and put their wind farm studies on the table, including its cost-benefit analysis, Bob Brown said today.
For example, Minister Barnett should make public his economic cost-benefit analysis study showing the project 'has the potential to inject up to $5 billion' into the state.
Like poker machines, everything has its limits. I support wind power but think this massive project which will power no Tasmanian homes, is too much a penalty scheme for the island.
I was backing wind power long before Rebecca White ever heard of it.
