Koalas Need Forests

Call on NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian to  permanently end the logging of native forest habitat in NSW and provide secure protection for the koala.

Koalas will be extinct before 2050 in NSW unless strong government action is taken now.

Last summer was a horror time for many of us.  For Koalas it was a monumental tragedy, they lost at least 10 000 of their species in NSW.

Across Australia, at least 30,000 koalas died in the fires and with 10 million hectares of land burned to the ground, it will be even harder for the surviving koalas to find food. Yet still, logging is continuing in our forests, destroying crucial habitat and exposing vulnerable species to extinction.

We need to enforce the laws which should protect our koala. We need to stop logging and protect remaining habitat.

Thank you for taking this simple action to write to the NSW Premier and call on her to protect Koalas.

We watched as the summer bushfires blazed across the country and we knew there would be an urgent need to all chip in and do what we can to ensure wildlife and forest habitat protection.
