After 16 years in the Senate, Bob was looking forward to travel adventures with his partner, Paul. One of their goals was to visit some of the million hectares owned and managed by Bush Heritage Australia, which protects wildlife and endangered habitats.
Green Nomads, being launched this week, is the photographic record of the 19 000-kilometre journey they undertook. It is also a tribute to the beauty and bounty of our Great Southland and the thousands of Australians whose love of country compels them to work to protect our unique environment.
This book shares Bob and Paul’s journey – camping by billabongs, climbing over ancient rock formations, visiting isolated Bush Heritage properties and revelling in the beauty of the natural universe.
