Forest Defenders Screening - Bendigo

Two activist filmmakers Crusty and Ramji joined our frontline campaigns in 2020 and their new stunning documentary Forest Defenders has captured the wild native forests of Tasmania and our actions to defend these forests. It is a grassroots documentary, filmed across Tasmania by the activists themselves.

Forest Defenders provides a powerful and beautiful insight into why these spectacular parts of native forests and rainforest are worthy of protection, showing the day-to-day lives of those who fight for protection.

Guest speaker Wendy Radford from the Wellsford Forest Conservation Alliance will tell us about their current campaign here in Bendigo. Q&A time after the film.

Doors open 7pm. Film begins at 7.30pm so come early to get your spot on the comfy couches. Limited seating due to current climate.
