Join me in a Canberra protest against Japan’s move to overturn the International Whaling Commission's time-honoured moratorium on whaling. Already illegally harpooning hundreds of pregnant Minke whales in Antarctic waters each year, Japan is relying on world apathy to make its bloody illegal butchery legal.
Our foundation is planning a peaceful protest outside the Japanese Embassy, when the crucial International Whaling Commission IWC, with a Japanese pro-whaler as president, meeting gets underway in Brazil. We will meet outside the embassy.
Bring your own banner if you can - in making a stand for Australia’s whales and all the whales of the world.
Email our Campaign Manager Jenny Weber for more information, or RSVP below if you can make it.
My best wishes,
Bob Brown
