2013 Environmentalist of the Year
Drew Hutton grew up in Queensland in the western Darling Downs town of Chinchilla. His mother was a teacher and his father was a World War II veteran, a drover and a butcher. Drew has been a high school teacher and an academic, teaching history and political science at the University of Queensland.

Isaac Astill grew up in Yankalilla, a small coastal town in the far south of the Fleurieu Peninsula, South Australia. Since a young age he has been driven by a passion for building the youth movement for action on climate change.

Charlie Wood is a passionate advocate for the climate, sustainable food production and socially responsible investment. Over the past seven years she has volunteered or worked with Amnesty International, Conservation Volunteers Australia, the Greens, and the ANU’s Regulatory Institutions Network.
